Running a server

Staff powers

What Supervisors and Managers can do, and the commands for each.

Two staff roles split the work. Supervisors look after matches and players. Managers run the server. A Manager can use every Supervisor command. The server owner and anyone with Administrator or Manage Server count as a Manager, so they can use every command on this page except !duty, which needs a staff role to switch.

Commands starting with ! are typed as messages. If your server changed its prefix, use that instead. Most Manager tasks are also on the dashboard, which is usually easier.

Some old commands, like !features, !settings and !config, are gone. Type one and the bot tells you where that thing is now, on the dashboard or in !panel.

Supervisors and Managers

TaskCommand
Settle a match nobody agrees on/setresult in the match channel. Team 1, Team 2, draw or cancel.
Warn a player!warn @player reason, or with a weight: !warn @player 8 threw the game
Check or remove warnings!warnings @player, /removewarn
Ban from scrims!ban @player 7d reason. Times like 24h or 2d12h work. Leave the time out for a permanent ban.
Lift a ban or see past bans!unban @player, and !banhistory @player (paid tier). Managers can also lift bans on the dashboard's Players page.
Private staff notes!note @player text, !notes @player, !delnote id. Paid tier.
Moderation history!modlog @player, !case id. Paid tier.
Clear the queue in a channel!resetqueue
Adjust a rating!eloadd, !eloremove or !eloset followed by @player amount
Back up everyone's ratings!backupelo. Paid tier.
Go off duty!duty off and !duty on switch you. !onduty shows who is on duty, and anyone can use it. !duty needs the Staff duty feature (or an Off Duty role your server already has) and the Scrim Manager or Scrim Supervisor role. Off-duty staff keep their powers and channels, and only stop getting staff pings. More in Every role explained.

Managers only

TaskCommand
Make this channel a queue!setup, or !setup casual Name. You can also add one on the dashboard's Live page.
Remove or rename a queue!deletequeue, !queuename Name, or the queue's card on the Live page.
Change this queue's format!queue 1v1 bo3. Any of 1v1 to 5v5, bo1, bo3, bo5, ranked, casual, or default. !queue on its own shows the format.
Close or reopen every queue!closequeue, !openqueue
Choose channels!setupresults, !setlog, !setconfirm, and !setauditchannel (paid tier). Or the Setup page, under Channels and roles the bot uses.
Queue pings!setqueueping @role, !removequeueping, or the role under Queue pings on the Features page. Each queue can ping a role of its own, or none: pick it on the queue's card on the Live page. 1v1 queues don't ping unless you pick a role for them.
Start this server's first season!startseason. Every rating goes back to the starting rating. Only this server is affected. Paid tier.
End this server's season now!endseason confirm. !endseason on its own says what will happen first. Ratings get the season-end reset and the next season starts straight away. Only this server is affected. Paid tier.
Preview Season Top roles!previewtop10. Only works with Season Top roles turned on. Paid tier.
Ratings!resetprogress, !eloreset @player, !restoreelo, /setrecord. !resetprogress backs everyone's ratings up first. Undoing it with !restoreelo needs the paid tier. The dashboard's Players page does most of these too.
Clans!deleteclan TAG. Paid tier.
Change the map pool!mappooladd, !mappoolremove, !mappoolreset. Paid tier. Anyone can see the pool with !mappool.
Settings and features!panel, !set readytime 180
Turn a player command off!disablecmd name. This works for /banstatus, /clan, /graph, /help, /history, /leaderboard, /profile, /rules, /seasoninfo and /vote. !enablecmd name turns it back on, and !disabledcmds lists the ones that are off. Or untick it on the dashboard's Features page.
Prefix, branding and stats/setprefix. The name, logo and banner in /branding need the paid tier, and so does /serverstats. On the free plan, set your colour on the dashboard's Branding page.
Find missing bot permissions!permcheck

What gets logged

Every warning, ban and unban gets a numbered case, on every server. Cases and results set by hand go to the punishment log channel. Setup makes that the same channel as the log channel.

Many staff commands are logged too, such as !warn, !ban, !resetqueue, !resetprogress and rating changes made with !eloadd, !eloremove and !eloset. Each one is posted in the log channel, with who used it and where. Choose that channel with !setlog, or as Log channel on the Setup page, under Channels and roles the bot uses. Changes made on the dashboard, like a lifted ban or a fixed rating, are logged there too.

Most slash commands, players' too, are posted there with what was typed. The bot leaves out players' avoid lists and profiles, and the key in /redeem.

Paid servers can also keep staff notes, look up a case with !case, see a player's full history with !modlog, and choose a different channel for cases with !setauditchannel, or as Punishment log channel on the same Setup page.
