Custom lobbies
Matches with players you choose, with no queue and no rating change.
Not every game needs a queue. Custom lobbies are for matches between people you pick. There's no queue and no rating change, so they suit events, try-outs and playing with friends.
Making a lobby
- Run
/lobby create. A lobby panel appears, set to 3v3. The host can switch it to 2v2 with the Mode button. - Press Invite and pick players.
- Players press a Join Team button to choose a side. If both teams aren't full when the match starts, the bot shuffles everyone into random teams, including players who already picked.
- When the lobby is full, the start buttons appear. Only the host can start, and picks best of 1, 3 or 5.
/lobby status shows your lobby, and /lobby disband closes
it. Lobbies are part of the paid tier.
Playing the match
From there a lobby match runs like a scrim. Everyone readies up, the bot posts both teams and the maps for the series, and the players vote on the winner at the end. A lobby never changes anyone's rating.
If a lobby match gets stuck, ask a Scrim Supervisor to end it with
/setresult. A new lobby can be set up after that.
