How-to
Queue with friends in a party
Make a party, get everyone to press Ready, and know who can join and leave the queue.
A party lets you and up to two friends join a queue together. You always play on the same team. Only the leader joins the queue, and the others press Ready to go in with them.
Make the party
- Run
/party. You become the leader, and the party panel appears. - Press Invite and pick your friend. Only the leader can invite. A party holds up to 3 players.
- Your friend presses Accept on the invite. It stays open for 5 minutes by default. If the bot says it couldn't reach them, ask them to send a message in the server, then invite them again.
Join a queue together
- Check that the queue fits your party. The queue panel tells you: solo only on a 1v1 queue, a party of up to 2 on a 2v2 queue, and up to 3 on 3v3 and bigger.
- In the queue channel, only the leader presses Join Queue.
- The others get a ping in the server's party confirm channel, often called #party-queue-confirm. If the server has none, the ping is in the queue channel. Each of them has 60 seconds by default to press Ready. Can't play cancels it. If time runs out, it is cancelled too.
- When everyone is ready, the whole party joins the queue together.
To leave the queue, the leader presses Join Queue again, and the whole party
leaves. Other members can't leave the queue with that button. If you need to go, press
Leave on the party panel. This takes you out of the party and the queue. The
leader uses Disband instead, and can remove someone with Kick a member.
Lost the panel? Run /party again.
Common problems
- When someone accepts an invite, the whole party is taken out of any queue. The leader presses Join Queue again.
- If someone joins the party during the Ready check, the join fails. The leader presses Join Queue again.
- If staff make a queue smaller, a party that is now too big is taken out, with a message saying why.
- A party of 2 or 3 can't join a 1v1 queue. The leader presses Disband, and everyone queues on their own.
- The party can't join while a member is waiting in another queue or is still in a match.
- On servers that require verification, every member must be verified first.
- You can't accept an invite while you are in another party. Press Leave on that party first. If you lead it, press Disband.
- If the bot restarts, your party is kept. Invites nobody answered yet are gone, so send
them again. After a long break, over half an hour, parties are gone and you make a new
one with
/party.
Where to go next
See Queues, parties and avoids for how matching works, and Linking your Brawl Stars account if your server asks you to verify. In most team tournaments, the party leader signs the whole party up as one team. If the tournament uses solo signups, everyone joins on their own instead. See Playing in a tournament.
