Common questions

Short answers to the things people ask most.

Does my scrim rating affect my trophies or Ranked?

No. The rating belongs to the bot and to your server. Nothing in scrims can change anything in Brawl Stars.

Can I take my rating to another server?

No. Each server keeps its own ratings, so everyone starts level when they join a new one.

Can the bot see my games?

No. The bot doesn't use your games to decide results, which is why players vote. It only reads public data from Brawl Stars: player profiles, and a player's recent battles for /battlelog.

I won but the vote went the other way. What now?

Tell a Scrim Supervisor or Manager. Staff can flip or undo the result, as long as it's still the same season. See Fix a wrong result. Next time, raise it in the match channel before anyone votes. While a match is still open, staff can set the result with /setresult.

Why didn't I get my rank role?

Just after a new season starts, rank roles come off everyone. Play one ranked match to get yours back.

Otherwise, it's usually because the bot's role is below the rank roles in the server's role list, so Discord won't let it hand them out. A server admin can drag the BrawlScrims role higher. The bot may also be missing the Manage Roles permission, which it needs to make a rank role the first time someone reaches that rank. The server may also have rank roles turned off.

Why does the bot say I'm still in a match?

Your match on that server hasn't ended, and you can't join a queue there until it does. Finish the vote, or use /cancel or /forfeit. If it's stuck, ask a Scrim Supervisor to end it with /setresult. A match on another server never stops you. By default, an unfinished match stops counting 3 hours after it started.

Why didn't the bot message me?

Your Discord privacy settings are probably blocking messages from server members. Allow them for that server and the bot can reach you.

How many players does a match need?

6 by default, which makes two teams of 3. Servers can change that, and can give a single queue channel its own size and length, so one server can run 1v1s in one channel and 3v3s in another.

Does it cost anything?

The core is free for good. A paid tier at $5 a month adds tournaments, seasons, clans and more, and every server can try it free for 14 days. See Free, paid and the trial.

What data is stored?

Your Discord ID and name, your scrim stats and match history, and your Brawl Stars tag if you verify. It also keeps things like your profile, avoid list, warnings, staff notes and clan. The privacy policy explains how to have your data removed.

How do I remove the bot?

Use Reset the bot on the Setup page first. It deletes every role, channel and category the bot made, including clan and season roles and queue channels wherever they are. It also resets every setting and rating. Then remove the bot from your server in Discord. !resetbot in Discord deletes the same roles and channels, but keeps the settings and ratings.

I found a bug or have an idea.
